TOURNAMENT GRADE TIPS AND TRICKS : SUMMERTIME NED RIGGING

It's Summertime and a good majority of the fish are deep.  It's hot and the fish have been pressured - the bite can get really tough.  One of the most successful ways to coax these finicky bass (especially small mouth and spotted bass) into biting is to down-size and throw a Ned Rig.  

The Ned Rig is typically a small mushroom style jig head with a small soft plastic.  There are many types of jig heads and plastics to throw, with one of the most popular being the Z-Man TRD.  Here is a quick tip using the Z-Man TRD that may help you save some money and catch a few more fish!
